Trading is risky. This Risk Disclosure explains those risks plainly. It applies to everything Gateway Into Day Trading LLC publishes or provides, including our website, social media, The Course, Live Signals, the Private Discord, and Mentorship. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Important: Trading futures, CFDs, indices such as US30, forex, cryptocurrency, and other leveraged products carries a high risk of losing money and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose some or all of your money, and with some products and brokers you can lose more than you deposited. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
1. Education only, not advice
Everything we provide is general education. It is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. We do not know your finances, goals, experience, or risk tolerance, and our content is not tailored to you. We are not registered with the SEC, CFTC, NFA, FINRA, or any other financial regulator, and we are not a broker, investment adviser, or commodity trading advisor. Talk to a licensed financial professional before making financial decisions.
2. Leverage and loss of capital
- Leverage lets you control a large position with a small deposit. It magnifies gains and losses equally. A small price move against you can cause a large loss.
- Losses can happen very quickly, especially around market opens, news releases, and economic data.
- Your broker may close your positions automatically (a margin call or stop-out) if your account falls below its requirements, locking in losses.
- Depending on the product and broker, losses may exceed your initial deposit.
- Stop-loss orders do not guarantee your exit price. In fast markets or gaps, orders can be filled at much worse prices.
3. Product and jurisdiction risk
Some products discussed in our content, such as CFDs on indices like US30, are not available to retail traders in every country, including the United States, and are regulated differently from place to place. It is your responsibility to know which products you are legally allowed to trade where you live and to use a properly regulated broker. Mentioning a product, platform, or broker is not a recommendation.
4. Signal-specific risks
- Signals show trades the founder is taking in his own accounts. They are not instructions for you to trade and are not personalized.
- Timing: by the time you receive and act on a signal, the price may have moved. Delays can come from apps, networks, your device, or your own availability.
- Different prices: brokers quote US30 and other instruments differently. Spreads, commissions, swaps, slippage, and execution speed vary, so your entries, exits, and results will differ from the founder's.
- Position size: the founder's position size reflects his own account and risk. Copying it may be far too large for yours.
- Missed updates: if you miss a management or exit alert, your trade may end very differently.
- Any signal can result in a loss, and several losing trades can happen in a row.
5. Results and earnings disclaimer
Profit screenshots and figures on our website and social media are shown for transparency about the founder's own trading. Please understand what they are and are not:
- They are not typical. They are not a promise, estimate, or prediction of what you will earn.
- Many show a single day, a single trade, or an open position whose profit was not yet realized. They do not show overall account performance, losing days, fees, or taxes over time.
- They are the founder's results, not the results of students or members, unless clearly labeled otherwise. Any member results shared are individual experiences and not typical.
- Most people who attempt day trading lose money. Your results depend on your capital, skill, discipline, time, broker, and market conditions, none of which we control.
- Purchasing any product does not mean you will make money or recover its cost.
6. Past and hypothetical performance
Past performance, whether real or hypothetical, does not guarantee future results. Markets change, and a method that worked before may stop working.
HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER- OR OVER-COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.
7. Emotional and behavioral risk
Trading can be stressful. Fear, greed, overconfidence, revenge trading, and trading while tired or upset lead to poor decisions and losses. Never trade money needed for rent, bills, debt payments, or essentials, and never borrow to trade. If trading is harming your finances, relationships, or wellbeing, stop and seek support.
8. Technology and third-party risk
Trading and our Services depend on internet connections, devices, apps, brokers, and data feeds that can fail, lag, or show incorrect prices. Platforms can freeze during volatile markets. Brokers can become insolvent or change their terms. We are not responsible for losses caused by any third-party system or broker.
9. Funded and prop firm accounts
If you trade with a proprietary ("prop") firm or funded-account program, you are subject to that firm's rules, fees, and payout terms. Breaking a rule can mean losing the account and your fees. We are not affiliated with any prop firm unless we clearly say so, and we make no promises about passing evaluations or receiving payouts.
10. Taxes
Trading profits and losses may have tax consequences. You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes you owe. Consult a tax professional.
11. Your responsibility
By using our Services, you confirm that you understand these risks, that you alone are responsible for your trading decisions and results, and that you will not hold Gateway Into Day Trading LLC, its founder, or its team liable for any trading losses.
